The Dorsey Dons pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Hamilton by a score of 59-57. Dorsey has struggled against Hamilton recently, as their match on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Hamilton to victory were Shiraz Lawrence and Demaije May. Lawrence scored ten points along with five rebounds, while May dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alan Tashlyk, who scored seven points.
Dorsey has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Hamilton, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-16.
Dorsey will take on George Washington Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hamilton, they will head out on the road to challenge University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully University focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Friday.
