Mountain Crest is 2-8 against Sky View since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Mountain Crest Mustangs will head out to take on the Sky View Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Mountain Crest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.9 points per game this season.
Last Wednesday, Mountain Crest was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-55 to Bear River. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Noah Cardon, who posted 19 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Niko Dimitricoff, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds.
Even though they lost, Mountain Crest smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Sky View was able to grind out a solid victory over West Field on Wednesday, taking the game 57-49. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.
Mountain Crest better keep an eye on Liam Guthrie. He was instrumental in Sky View's win, going 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Macade Rolle, who had 12 points and five rebounds.
Sky View is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for Mountain Crest, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Mountain Crest has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26.9 boards per game. However, it's not like Sky View struggles in that department as they've been averaging 23.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Mountain Crest won a contest that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in February of 2024, slipping by Sky View 58-57. Will Mountain Crest repeat their success, or does Sky View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
