If Frankfort was looking for revenge after losing 30-29 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Glen Lake's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jessie Pugh, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine steals. Another player making a difference was Eleanor Valkner, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Frankfort's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4. As for Glen Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Frankfort will head out on the road to take on the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Michigan (Benzie Central is ranked 200th, while the Panthers are ranked 182nd). As for Glen Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Norsemen at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Suttons Bay has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 12.
