There's no place like home for the Shanksville Stonycreek Vikings, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past Hyndman Charter School 48-17 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-8.
Shanksville Stonycreek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Musser, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Musser is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Grant Boozer was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Shanksville Stonycreek pushed their record up to 6-3 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Hyndman Charter School, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shanksville Stonycreek will take on Rockwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hyndman Charter School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Turkeyfoot Valley Area at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
