The Miami Beach Hi-Tides waltzed into their contest Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Jackson by a score of 60-53. That's another feather in the cap for Miami Beach, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Baptiste T was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Lieberperson, who scored 13 points.
Despite the loss, Jackson still got an impressive performance from Jordany Fils-Aime, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Fils-Aime scored a full 45.3% of Jackson's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Robert Carr was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Miami Beach's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami Beach won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against JC Bermudez Doral at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Jackson will be home for the holidays to greet Edison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Edison is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
