Hesston has been on the road for four straight, but  on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Halstead Dragons at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Hesston put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season  on Tuesday. They blew past Hoisington 48-27. Given Hesston's advantage  in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 18th, while the Cardinals are ranked 114th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Hesston's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Reed Friesen, who  scored seven points along with six  rebounds and two  blocks, and   Adrian Hernandez, who  scored 13 points.  Karter Gonzalez was another key contributor,  scoring eight points.
 Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Halstead beat the Indians 47-42 on Friday.
 Hesston pushed their record up to 12-2 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Halstead, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.
 Everything came up roses for Hesston against the Dragons in their previous meeting  back in February of 2023 as the  team secured a  69-19 win. Will Hesston repeat their success,  or do  the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
