Meanwhile, Greenbrier Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over StoneBridge on Tuesday, taking the game 37-26.
Greenbrier Christian Academy's win came from a few key players Broadwater Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Bayleigh Kaliher, who posted 15 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Balka, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.
Greenbrier Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in nine consecutive contests.
Broadwater Academy pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to assists: they averaged an imposing 10.33 assists in those games compared to only 10.33 in the others. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Broadwater Academy has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 23.8 boards per game. However, it's not like Greenbrier Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.1 rebounds.
