The Dana Hills Dolphins pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 64-57 to La Habra. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (56), Dana Hills still had to take the loss.
Dana Hills' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nikolis Grguric, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Haugh, who scored 14 points.
Dana Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for La Habra, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Dana Hills will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Rancho Buena Vista at 5:30 p.m. on December 6th. Rancho Buena Vista will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 166th, while Dana Hills is ranked 46th). As for La Habra, they will be playing at home against La Serna at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
