Softball Recap: Revere Wins Going Away Against Columbia

The Revere Minutemen made easy work of the Columbia Raiders on Thursday and carried off a 15-1 win. Considering the Minutemen have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Revere got a massive performance out of Sydney Kreighbaum, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Sydney Firca, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Revere always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.

Revere's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Columbia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

Revere didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-9 loss against Brunswick on the 9th. As for Columbia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 win against Brookside on the 9th.
