Despite the defeat, Maritime Academy Charter saw an underclassman step up: Zibri Miller dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andy Figueroa, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Maritime Academy Charter struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Maritime Academy Charter's defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12. As for String Theory, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-7.
