Basketball Recap: Carver Piles Up the Points Against Cornerstone Charter

Carver won the last time they faced Cornerstone Charter and things went their way on Monday too. The Carver Yellowjackets simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals 57-16. The Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Carver has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points over those games. As for Cornerstone Charter, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-19.

Looking ahead, Carver won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bethany Community at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bethany Community comes in on four and Carver on eight. Cornerstone Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
