What's more, North posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cloe Hatzer, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.
Berne Union always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .658. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .537 or higher in four consecutive games.
Berne Union's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
