The Arnold Marlins will challenge the Choctawhatchee Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Arnold will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
Arnold is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Fort Walton Beach get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Marlins have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cooper Moss made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Maddox Bean was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Lindsey, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Arnold always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Walton Beach only posted an OBP of .286.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Choctawhatchee sidestepped St. Augustine for a 12-10 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.
The team relied heavily on Seth Young, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Gant Folendore was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Arnold pushed their record up to 23-6 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Choctawhatchee, their win bumped their record up to 17-13.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Arnold has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Choctawhatchee struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Arnold took their victory against Choctawhatchee when the teams last played back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 14-3 score. Will the Marlins repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
