Durant is 8-2 against Bloomingdale since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Durant Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Bloomingdale Bulls at 6:00 p.m. Durant will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Durant blew past Brandon, posting a 62-16 win at home.
Durant got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin White out in front who scored 19 points. The matchup was White 's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Wylde Correa was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Bloomingdale unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Plant City.
Durant's victory lifted them to 4-1 while Brandon's loss dropped them down to 0-2.
Everything came up roses for Durant against Bloomingdale in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 57-25 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Durant since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
