Menomonee Falls came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Brookfield Central, but Dylan Romero wouldn't allow it. The Lancers walked away with a 67-55 victory over the Phoenix on Friday thanks in part to Romero, who went 10-for-18 en route to 23 points along with seven assists and seven boards. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Rusch, who posted seven points in addition to eight steals and seven assists. Rusch is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Loss or not, Menomonee Falls got some senior leadership from Kate Janssen and Sydney Redding. Janssen almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds, while Redding almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for Redding. Piper Atkinson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Brookfield Central now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Menomonee Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
