This season hasn't been kind to the Alief Elsik Rams, who are still winless after their sixth matchup. Several Rams players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ricky Wilson, who scored 11 points. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last three games he's played. David Uwalaka was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
St. Michael's found their leader in underclassman Bo Ogden, who scored 23 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Ogden has scored at least 25% of St. Michael's points. Another player making a difference was Aiden Disu, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Alief Elsik's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for St. Michael's, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Alief Elsik will square off against Anderson at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Michael's, they will head out on the road to face off against Harker Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
