Roosevelt has gone 5-0 against Madera recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Roosevelt Rough Riders will square off against the Madera Coyotes at 5:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Roosevelt fell victim to Sunnyside and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 4-0. The shutout was out of character for the Rough Riders seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, Madera also failed to score in their most recent game. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sanger West on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 786th, while the Hornets are ranked 122nd).

Madera's loss dropped their record down to 5-13-3. As for Roosevelt, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 10-7-1.

Roosevelt beat Madera 3-1 in their previous matchup on January 9th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Roosevelt since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
