Donnica Armstrong was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Lartigue, who scored nine points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Houston Christian, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against St. John's by a score of 45-36 on Friday. That nine points margin sets a new team best for Houston Christian this season.
St. Stephen's Episcopal is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Houston Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.
