They will be home for the holidays to greet the Albany Warriors at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Stanberry is ranked 327th, while Albany is ranked 325th).
Stanberry scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Northeast Nodaway, posting a 73-33 victory on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Stanberry has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Albany had to suffer through a rough 69-42 loss at the hands of Worth County.
Stanberry's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3. As for Albany, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Stanberry came up short against Albany when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 46-40. Can Stanberry avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
