Bloomfield never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Shiprock Chieftains with a sharp  10-0 win. Considering the Bobcats have won six contests by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Wyatt Etcitty and  Trae Woods made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Etcitty   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Woods   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. At bat,  Etcitty  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  home run, while  Woods  went 1-for-2 with one  triple and one  run. That  home run was  Etcitty's first of the season.
 In other batting news, Bloomfield let  Ryan Page and  AJ Valencia run wild. Page  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2, while  Valencia  scored a  run while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  Valencia a new career-high in  RBI (three).  Johnny Yates was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run.
 Bloomfield  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shiprock only posted  an  OBP of  .250.
Bloomfield is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Shiprock,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-8.
