Softball Recap: Haslett's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Haslett can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against the Okemos Wolves by a score of 7-4. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Payden Whitmore was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and two runs. Riley Wheeler was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-15. As for Okemos, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Haslett will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolves: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
