The Lake Mary Prep Griffins's three-game losing streak  came to an end  on Friday. They came out on top against Calvary Christian Academy by a score of  70-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 Lake Mary Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Cael Ogden, who  scored 17 points along with nine  rebounds and two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Ogden has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Wade Brashears, who  scored 19 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Lake Mary Prep now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Mary Prep and Altamonte Christian will face off  at 7:00  p.m.  on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Altamonte Christian is coming into the  game hot, having won their last four games. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Forest Lake Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
