On Wednesday, the Eduprize Eagles faced the Learning Foundation & Performing Arts Wolves in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Eduprize fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 52-49. It was the first time this season that Eduprize let down their fans at home.
Jabari Lee continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Lee continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Thaddeus Hawkins was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Eduprize's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4. As for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eduprize will take on the Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. BASIS - Chandler will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Eagles are ranked 20th). As for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, they will be playing at home against the Bengals at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
