Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shadow Ridge). They blew past the Faith Lutheran Crusaders 46-0 on Thursday. With that victory, the Mustangs brought their scoring average up to 27.1 points per game.

Shadow Ridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aubree Davis led the charge by throwing for 84 yards and five touchdowns. Davis has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Savanna McDow, who rushed for 102 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

Shadow Ridge was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 224 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive matchups.

Shadow Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jaidyn Smith, Jaylani Palmer, Claudia Parker, and Demi Crocker picked up one apiece.

Shadow Ridge's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.8 points per game. As for Faith Lutheran, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
