Living Word Lutheran hadn't done well against Brookfield Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Brookfield Academy Blue Knights 59-24. The Timberwolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Living Word Lutheran's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaleah Alles, who went 12 of 23 en route to 29 points. Alles is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Elaina Raymond was another key player, almost dropping a triple-double on nine points, ten rebounds, and nine steals.

Living Word Lutheran smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in nine consecutive games.

Living Word Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points over those games. As for Brookfield Academy, they dropped their record down to 7-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Living Word Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-28 win against Catholic Central on the 8th. As for Brookfield Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Heritage Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
