White Shield won against New Salem last Sunday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The White Shield Warriors came out on top against the New Salem Holsteins by a score of 59-52. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

White Shield's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for New Salem, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

White Shield will host Trinity Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 11th. White Shield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Trinity Christian likes a good challenge. As for New Salem, they will head out to face off against Richardton-Taylor at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
