Softball Recap: Ragsdale Wins Going Away Against Dudley

Ragsdale never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Dudley on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over the Dudley Panthers. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Ragsdale is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Dudley and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ragsdale will head out to face off against Southwest Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Southwest Guilford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.7 runs per game this season. As for Dudley, they will challenge Southern Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
