Zane Farney Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sterling was led to victory by Zane Farney, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Farney rushed for 300 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 17.6 yards per carry. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.

On Friday, Sedgwick had to settle for second even though Spencer Crumrine put up the best numbers he has all season. Crumrine picked up 170 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made six total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended a pass.
Sedgwick moved to 6-1 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak. Crumrine and Sedgwick will be playing in front of their home fans against Remington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
