The Marmaton Valley Wildcats lost against the Crest Lancers two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Marmaton Valley was the victim of a tough 60-40 defeat at the hands of the Lancers. Marmaton Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Crest's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryan Golden led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rogan Weir, who scored 13 points along with six assists and three steals.
Marmaton Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Crest, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
