The Breckenridge Buckaroos waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Peaster 60-28 at home. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Breckenridge had established a 29 point advantage.
Breckenridge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaysi Wilcox, who scored 24 points along with six assists and two steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Wilcox has scored at least a third of Breckenridge's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Castillo, who scored 12 points along with eight steals.
Breckenridge's victory bumped their record up to 11-23. As for Peaster, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-23.
Breckenridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Peaster also has no future games currently scheduled.
