Meanwhile, IDEA Montopolis earned a 57-46 win over KIPP Austin Brave on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for IDEA Montopolis.
IDEA Montopolis found their leader in underclassman Damarion Fisher, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Fisher has scored at least a third of IDEA Montopolis' points. Another player making a difference was Georgio Hernandez, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
IDEA Kyle's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for IDEA Montopolis, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
