Bayshore Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Leroy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played two weeks ago.
Leroy's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ray Phillips, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Phillips has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Malik Howell, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Bayshore Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Leroy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.
Bayshore Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Leroy, they will head out on the road to challenge McIntosh at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. McIntosh presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Leroy in Alabama (McIntosh is ranked 142nd, while Leroy is ranked 331st).
