Jack Balzi was on fire: he rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes. Alex Brown got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Weston's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Timothy Martin, who threw for 137 yards and three touchdowns. Miles Fine was another key contributor, picking up 97 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
New Milford is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Weston, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
New Milford will head out on the road to face off against Masuk at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Masuk will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Weston will take on Brookfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Brookfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up four on Friday.
