Latino College Preparatory Academy has gone 9-1 against KIPP San Jose Collegiate recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Monday. The Golden Eagles will look to defend their home field  against the Wolfpack  at 3:00  p.m. Latino College Preparatory Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6  runs per game  this season.
If Latino College Preparatory Academy beats KIPP San Jose Collegiate with 17  runs on Monday, it's going to be the  squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two  matches with that exact score. The Golden Eagles put the hurt on El Primero with a sharp  17-1 victory last Wednesday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Golden Eagles.
 YADIRA ADAME made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. ADAME was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs.
 In other batting news,  YULISSA HERNANDEZ was a standout: she got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  ANDREA SANCHEZ, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Latino College Preparatory Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .567. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .333 or higher in four consecutive  games.
Meanwhile, KIPP San Jose Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They came up short against  Summit Shasta, falling  9-1.
  Celezthe Diaz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with four  stolen bases and one  run.
 Latino College Preparatory Academy picked up their first road  win, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for KIPP San Jose Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Latino College Preparatory Academy took their  victory against KIPP San Jose Collegiate  when the teams last played  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  24-4 score. Will the Golden Eagles repeat their success,  or do  the Wolfpack have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
