The biggest upset of the week belonged to Rock Falls, who took down 316th ranked Rock Falls, 14-13.
Byron extended the longest winning streak in Big Northern - West this week by beating Lutheran, 35-34. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Rock Falls' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Rockets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jacob Mammosser has thrown for 1701 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Steven Armoska has 34 catches for 610 yards. Brendon LeBarron leads the league in rushing with 409 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Crusaders take on Stillman Valley. Lutheran's offense has racked up 175 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Cardinals have allowed only 120 on the year.
A big matchup in Big Northern - West this week will be when Winnebago takes on Byron. The Indians are in first place, while Jeff Boyer's team is in third place.
Mendota moved up to 347 from 390 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Trojans climbed the ranks as a result of a 14-13 win over the Rockets.
