The match between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Cranston West falling 49-32. They have not had much luck with St. Mary Academy-Bay View recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Cranston West lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Saniyya Chase, who scored two points along with 11 rebounds and four steals. Chase hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Kyla Buco, who scored nine points.
Cranston West's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for St. Mary Academy-Bay View, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with that win, which was their third straight at home.

St. Raphael Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
