After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eaglecrest, the Prairie View Thunderhawks were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 63-26 win over Bruce Randolph on the road.
Leading Prairie View to victory were Paige Walker and Celicia Robles. Walker dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Robles scored 20 points along with 7 steals and 6 assists. The match was Robles' sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Scaff, who scored 8 points.
Prairie View's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Bruce Randolph, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Prairie View will head out on the road to face off against Thornton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Thornton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Wednesday. As for Bruce Randolph, they will face off against Stargate School at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
