St. John Paul II's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gavin Ford, who threw for 323 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per attempt. A healthy portion of that aerial production (136 yards to be exact) went to Ethan Braun, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Maclay's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for St. John Paul II, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.
