The Mills Vikings won the last time they faced the Ann Sobrato Bulldogs, and things went their way on Friday too. Mills walked away with a 50-40 victory over Ann Sobrato.
Mills' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jefriel Bacorro, who scored 11 points. The contest was Bacorro's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Lee, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Mills' victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Ann Sobrato, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Mills' road trip will continue as they head out to face Monta Vista at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Ann Sobrato won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against San Jose at 3:00 p.m. on December 16th.
