Basketball Recap: Parish Hill Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Parish Hill entered their tilt with Capital Prep on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Capital Prep Trailblazers 34-20. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Parish Hill found their leader in sophomore Julie Millerd, who posted 15 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Gabby Nollet was another key player, putting up six points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Parish Hill pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.8 points over those games. As for Capital Prep, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Parish Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Capital Prep/Classical Magnet/Achievement First at 6:00 p.m. on February 20th. Capital Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
