Despite the loss, Northview Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kylie Schultz had 13 digs and two assists. Those 13 digs set a new season-high mark for Schultz. Sydney Cole also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.
Having lost for the first time this season, Northview Academy fell to 7-1. As for Seymour, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.
