It's playoff time, and Northwestern had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Mater Lakes Academy Bears get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Bulls, who have now won eight matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Northwestern didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jah'Keriyah Brown and Antastasia Clinch. Brown has been hot for a while, having also posted at least one defended passe the last nine times she's played.

Northwestern pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.8 points on average over those games. As for Mater Lakes Academy, they moved to 12-5 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Coming up, Northwestern will venture away from home to take on Dr. Joaquin Garcia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something the Bulls surely won't give up without a fight. Mater Lakes Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
