After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Summertown, Battle Creek was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They never let the Loretto Mustangs get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.
The result came thanks to Ryan Weber's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks. He has become a key player for Battle Creek: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 13-14 otherwise.
