It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lone Jack ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the St. Paul Lutheran Saints. The result was nothing new for the Mules, who have now won six matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Lone Jack's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for St. Paul Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Lone Jack is taking a road trip to take on Lee's Summit at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they will be playing at home against Kingsville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Saints' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
