The Meadowbrook Colts struggled with assists on Tuesday (the River View Black Bears had seven more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Meadowbrook received a tough blow as they fell 71-54 to River View. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Meadowbrook of the 74-44 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.
Meadowbrook's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Ray, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ray has scored all season. Masyn Campbell was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.

The team also got some help courtesy of Laired Williamson, who scored 14 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.
Meadowbrook's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for River View, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.
Meadowbrook will head out on the road to face off against Philo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: Drew Wright and Colton Delancey. As for River View, they will be playing at home against Steubenville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
