Cumberland has gone 8-2 against Spooner recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Beavers will face off against the Rails. Spooner took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Cumberland, who comes in off a win.
Cumberland's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Hurley with a sharp 10-0 win. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Beavers this season.
Cooper Schramski made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Cumberland is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-17 otherwise. Schramski was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since May 6th.
