Basketball Recap: Community Christian Piles Up the Points Against Tabernacle Christian

Community Christian won the last time they faced Tabernacle Christian and things went their way on Friday too. Community Christian simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Tabernacle Christian 71-43. Community Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Community Christian was led to victory by Abel Parsley and Luke Fagan. Parsley went 9-for-11 en route to 18 points and six steals, while Fagan posted nine points along with eight assists and seven boards. Those eight assists gave Fagan a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Briscoe, who had ten points and eight rebounds.

Community Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points over those games. As for Tabernacle Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Community Christian will host Fishers Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tabernacle Christian, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles duke it out with the EAGLES at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Tabernacle Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
