Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Frankfort). They put the hurt on the East Hardy Cougars with a sharp 20-8 victory on Friday. With that win, the Falcons brought their scoring average up to 8.8 runs per game.

Blake Jacobs was a standout: he scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Lanson Orndorf, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Frankfort always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory was the third in a row for Frankfort, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Frankfort will face off against Spring Mills at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Spring Mills' pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so Frankfort's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for East Hardy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
