Even though the Everett Seagulls have not done well against the Kamiak Knights recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Everett came out on top against Kamiak by a score of 69-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Isaiah White was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. The match was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mahamed Juma, who scored 19 points.
Everett's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Kamiak, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Everett will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Meadowdale at 7:15 p.m. on December 13th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Meadowdale is ranked 180th, while Everett is ranked 159th). As for Kamiak, they will head out on the road to face off against Inglemoor at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
