The Bethany Bronchos stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 84-35 win over Anadarko on the road. Winning may never get old, but Bethany sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Bethany's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keziah Lofton, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Lofton hasn't dropped below 18 points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayten Donley, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Bethany's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.9 points. As for Anadarko, their loss dropped their record down to 16-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethany will square off against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Weatherford will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Bronchos are ranked fourth). As for Anadarko, they will head out on the road to face off against the Fighting Chicks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
